Facial recognition cameras taking our picture
So much plastic in our bodies it’s a fixture
Mixture, mush & machine it’s a twister
Cyborgs with bad parts & pickled livers
End comes quicker, flame starts to flicker
Feed us bullshit like Cinderella’s slipper
All we really have is a scratch & sniff sticker
Scratch & win lottery, cigarettes & liquor
No there’s nothing wrong
Lets do a singalong
This is the song we’ll sing
And nah it doesn’t mean a thing
And it goes like this
Purse up your lips
This is the song that we’ll song
And nah it doesn’t mean a thing
I don’t whistle while I’m working
I’m working from home that means I’m not there in person
I’m taking naps, dog walks, web surfing
Tap the laptop every 10 minutes recurring
End of my shift & my words start slurring from bourbon
Getting through the day is a whirlwind
Burning, working for these vermin
Cut little pieces away each day just like a surgeon
Cant wash a serpent out with detergent
Dirty like your internet history searches
It’s us vs billionaires, politicians, churches
While the cast of mutherfucking Friends does rehearsals
We are designated vessels for commercials
Worst is a long way away but this is urgent
Immersed in some universal curse
You can’t put this back into the bottle or in reverse
Walk around with our cell phones like a dummy
Companies using our bodies to make money
They know you walked down an isle past some pringles
Now you’re getting ads for chips in your windows
I don’t know who is in charge or advising
But I do not want to be advertising
Want to be private, my own little island
Nothing to hide all naked & silent
Hey everybody
Clap your hands yall come on
Get up go to work & make some money
Everybody come on now
Hey everybody
Get up go to work & be somebody
Everybody come on now
Hey everybody
Clap your hands yall come on
Get up go to work & make some money
Everybody come on now
Hey everybody
Get up go to work & be somebody
Everybody come on now
I think this might be the hardest album Buck 65 has ever made. Not an ounce of fat on it. Every single thing about it is dope. But then every single thing about King of Drums and Super Dope is dope too. Still this might be my favourite of the bunch. I'm just happy Buck is back and making all this dope ass hip hop for us. Arrrgghh it makes me so happy. beatjesus
