Sunday, December 8 marks the 25th anniversary of Peanuts & Corn Records. It also marks the 45th birthday of our very own DJ Hunnicutt (Did you know Peanuts and Corn’s very first release, the space EP, was released on DJ Hunnicut’s 20th birthday? A little bit of trivia for you…).

To commemorate this Anniversary/birthday, farm fresh is releasing a limited edition 7 inch with the only two songs that I DJ Hunnicutt ever rapped on, “My ex girl,” which appeared on Farm Fresh’s 2005 album, time is running out, and the previously unreleased “Betamax.” Written in 1996 as a response to the Different Shades of Black song “VHS,” the song has been a fan favourite whenever DJ Hunnicutt was coaxed out from behind the turntables to perform it live at Farm Fresh shows or Peanuts and Corn revues. But it has never been released… Until now.

Pre-orders for the limited edition 7 inch begin Sunday, December 8 and includes an immediate digital download of both songs.

Shipping of the 7 inch will take place at the end of January.
